We have the pleasure to invite you to Prague to a public lecture by Lama Ole Nydahl on October 9 on Buddhism – Freedom and Joy.

Lama Ole Nydahl is Danish and he is a fully qualified teacher and master of Diamond Way Buddhist meditation. During their stay in Nepal in 1969, he and his wife Hannah became the students of the 16th Karmapa (1924 – 1981) and received Buddhist teachings and initiations from many important masters. After several years of studies and meditation, Karmapa asked Ole and Hannah to transfer the Diamond Way Buddhism to the West.

For the last 40 years, Lama Ole Nydahl has been travelling, teaching and establishing meditation centres worldwide. He has also authored several books.

 

The lecture will be held in English. Tickets will be available on the spot before the lecture.
